云南工程建设总承包公司（前身为云南省第八建筑工程公司）始建于1953年，是云南省唯一一家国家房屋建筑工程施工总承包特级资质企业，简称“云南建设”。公司注册资本金3.84亿元。现有在职职工1437名，其中专业技术人员372名，高职38人，中职180人，注册建造师180名，注册造价工程师13人，注册安全工程师11人。大中型施工机械277台，总功率8551.5千瓦。

公司具有市政公用工程施工总承包壹级资质、水利水电工程施工总承包贰级资质、电力工程施工总承包叁级资质、建筑工程行业乙级设计资质、地基与基础工程专业承包壹级资质、钢结构工程专业承包壹级资质、消防设施工程专业承包壹级资质、机电设备安装工程专业承包壹级资质、建筑智能化工程专业承包贰级资质、混凝土预制构件专业贰级资质。在云南建筑行业中首批通过GB/T19001-2000、GB/T24001-2004、GB/T28001-2001质量、环境、职业健康安全管理体系认证。是云南省综合实力最强的施工企业之一。

公司先后获得40多次部、省级的表彰，曾荣获“全国创全优工程先进企业、”全国先进施工企业“、全国优秀施工企业”称号，获得中国建筑工程“鲁班奖”4项，国家优质工程银质奖6项，被列为“中国最大500家建筑企业及500家最佳经济效益企业”。公司下辖29个生产经营单位，具有土建施工、地基基础施工、水利水电施工、消防、机械设备安装、市政工程施工、电力工程施工、智能化工程施工、钢结构工程施工、设计等能力。

Yunnan General Contract of Engineering Construction Corporation (the former Yunnan Eighth Construction Engineering Corporation) was founded in 1953, which is the only construction company in Yunnan province owning the special-grade general contracting qualification for construction of home-building projects, short for Yunnan Construction. It has a registered capital, 384 million Yuan. Yunnan Construction has a total workforce of 1437, among whom 372 are various professionals, including 38 awarded senior professional titles, 180 awarded medium-grade professional titles, 180 certified chartered builders, 13 registration cost engineers, and 11 certified safety engineers. Its large and medium scale of construction machineries amounts to 277 and the total power is 8551.5 kilowatts.

      Yunnan Construction has a first-grade general contracting qualification for construction of municipal public projects, second-grade general contracting qualification for water resource and hydro-power projects, third-grade general contracting qualification for Power engineering projects, serie B design qualification In the construction industry , first-grade professional contracting qualification for ground and foundation projects, first-grade professional contracting qualification for steel structure projects ,first-grade professional contracting qualification for firefighting equipment projects, first-grade professional contracting qualification for construction of electromechanical installation projects, second-grade professional contracting qualification for intellectualized construction, Second-grade professional contracting qualification for Pre-mix concrete production,It is one of the earliest enterprises in the building industry of Yunnan province which passed the safety management system certification of GB/T19001-2000、GB/T24001-2004 and GB/T28001-2001, and one of the strongest comprehensive construction enterprise in Yunnan province.

      Yunnan Construction has been praised over 40 times by ministerial, provincial. It has been granted the titles of “national creating general excellent constructions advanced enterprise”, “national advanced building enterprise”, “national excellent building enterprise”, It has won four lu ban prizes, the highest prize for construction quality, six national high quality construction prizes.
